The {{:properties_32.png?nolink|}} Properties panel is opened through the main upper toolbar under '[[tools_tab|Tools]] > Properties'.

**The Properties panel reveals 'File Information' for most items that are selected with the mouse.**

Some items such as scans, folders, and piping components will have a few adjustable property values.
A scan file, for example, can have its transformation manually changed by making changes to its 'Scene Node' and 'Scene Position' values.
