• Step 1. Create a Piping System

• Step 1. Create a Point Group Set

• Step 2. Add one or more Point Groups

• Step 3. Select an area of scan points using one of the four Area Selection Tools

• Step 4. Assign the selected points to a Point Group

• Step 5. Switch the Shape tool to single selection Point mode (keyboard shortcut Alt+P)

• Step 6. Clear the selection using the Clear Selection icon

• Step 7. If desired, export a Point Group or a selection of scan points using Batch Point Cloud Export

• Step 1. Select the area of interest in the point cloud using one of the four Area Selection Tools

• Step 2. Switch the Shape tool to single selection Point mode (keyboard shortcut Alt+P)

• Step 3. With the mouse, click on one of the selected scan points

• Step 4. Open Batch Point Cloud Export to export the selection

• When a scan or other object is a far distance from 0,0,0 coordinates or far from the camera's position, use the 'Find' option to bring it into view.
